Enhancing Comfort with Contact Lens Wear
For some mild to moderate dry eye patients, I'll instill a drop of ocular lubricant about five to 10 minutes before applying any type of soft contact lens in the office. When patients do this at home, they report improved lens-wearing comfort, greater wear time and less dryness toward the end of the day.
