Fitting Tip of the Month
Maximizing Soft Lens Comfort
Over 50% of contact lens dropouts happen because of reduced comfort, thus I take a proactive approach to preventing these dropouts. I discuss this issue up front with my patients by letting them know that "Comfort is King", but can be difficult to predict. Understanding their preferred wearing schedule, obtaining their feedback during the fitting process and knowing their ocular health is necessary for me to maximize their success and my contact lens business.
