Broaching the Topic of Colored CLs with Patients
Patients love the ability to make personal statements and tinted contact lenses
offer an affordable, fun way for patients to express themselves. Practitioner reluctance to offer this option
hinders the growth of the category and may ultimately reduce a patient's enthusiasm. Professional staff can reduce
anxiety by simply asking patients whether they are interested in tinted lenses and by offering the opportunity to
make either a subtle or a dramatic change in their appearance. The benefits to practices that offer tinted lenses
as an option expand when we dedicate time to educate patients on options, which have both optical and emotional
rewards.

Current research shows that 38 million patients in the United States are interested in color
contact lenses.
Research also showed that 32% of those interested in color contact lenses are
non-vision corrected. Color contact lenses provide a tremendous practice growth opportunity for eyecare
professionals. ACUVUE 2 COLOURS Brand Contact Lenses can help you tap into this market by providing the
outstanding comfort and exceptional handling that will turn these interested patients into contact lens wearers.
